About Susan Dollar

Born and raised in Port Elgin, Ontario, Susan Dollar has roots in Bruce County going back several generations. Susan has followed in the footsteps of her father, the late Robert Dollar, who practised law in Port Elgin for 40 years. After leaving this area to further her education, Susan returned in 2000 and started her practice in Southampton. Susan has now been practising law in Southampton for over 20 years. With her background and depth of experience, Susan has a good understanding of the area and the needs of the people who live here.

Susan obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from McMaster University in 1983 and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario in 1985. After working as a business researcher at Royal Bank of Canada and Rothschild Canada Limited for several years, Susan obtained a LL.B. degree from Queen’s University where she received awards for Real Property Law and Evidence Law. After articling in London, Ontario, she worked at a firm in London before returning home in 2000.
